Parents are our most important partners in education!
- Within the first two weeks of classes, the International Program Coordinator will email with parents to outline the student's projected course load for the school year. Our Coordinator will communicate with parents on a regular basis throughout the year regarding the student's progress; likewise, our coordinator will update parents in the event that the student's course load needs to be adjusted to reflect the child's level of success in his/her classes.
- Our primary method of communication with parents is electronic; parents are able to follow all aspects of their child's academic progress on our Learning Management System, Canvas: www.briercrestchristianacademy.ca/academics/canvas/. In addition, the BCA office communicates with parents via web site updates, electronic newsletters, email and Canvas announcements.
- Parents are encouraged to communicate directly with our ESL teacher and our Coordinator should they desire more detailed discussion about their child's progress.
